MARRIOTT ORLANDO AIRPORT CFAA membership is required for Seminar registration. Click here to join CFAA if you are not already a member. Members should have already received flyers in the mail about the 2008 Seminar and Workshop enrollment procedures. If you have misplaced your flyers or have not received them, please click here to download a suitable enrollment form. The SEMINAR REGISTRATION FEE of $275 includes Seminar Registration, a seat at the General Meeting, all Programs, 2 Continental Breakfasts, 2 Lunches (Saturday & Sunday), Dinner on Friday, and admission to the Reception for viewing of the Kaleidoscope Designs. Please make note of any special dietary needs on your registration form. Register by February 2 (postmark determines date of registration). After February 2, you may register for a fee of $300. Registration for the optional Workshop (Contrived Flower Workshop) is an additional $40. No refunds of fees will be made after February 7, 2008. Please list any special dietary needs with registration form. FEATURED DESIGNER/WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR: Phil Rulloda is an internationally renowned floral artist who is on the cutting edge of modern floral art. Phil's awards and honors are numerous and varied. In July 2007, Phil and his wife, Cathy Rulloda, received the "Distinguished Service to the Floral Industry" award. Phil is acclaimed by the industry's esteemed designers, educators and commentators as one of the finest talents in the world today. He has appeared throughout the world as a featured speaker and designer at the most prestigious events. A superb teacher, Phil is dynamic and entertaining, and is sure to hold the audience spellbound. Phil founded and leads the "Southern California School of Floral Design" in Anaheim, California. Bonnie Dordal, Minnesota A very talented artist in many areas of art, Bonnie hails from Woodbury, MN. She has been an artistic floral designer for over 30 years. She has done numerous educational programs for public television and has been a popular presenter of floral design programs for many garden club events. Bonnie is a Life Member of the Minnesota Federated Garden Club. Her imaginative designs have been a source of inspiration for creative designers around the US, and have often been featured in Garden Club publications.
Contrived Flower Workshop Claudia is a talented and innovative designer who resides in Gainesville, Florida. She is a 7th generation Floridian, a rarity in this day of so many new residents in the state! She has served as President of the Gainesville Garden Club, and is active as an Instructor for the Floral Design Study Course Program in Florida. Her designs have been featured in The Florida Arrangement Calendar and in the Vision of Beauty. She has won many Blue Ribbons and Top Awards for her designs. She is an NGC Accredited Master Flower Show Judge, and enjoys spending time with her family and her extensive travels. Other great programs planned include: The Northern Georgia Judges Ann Ramsey A Challenge for selected designers The Kaleidoscopes will be fabulous, and this event is being chaired by Elaine Parisi, of Massachusetts.The Vendors for the Seminar will be wonderfully and have the latest in Design-Related Merchandise and Containers. We will enjoy networking and socializing with our friends, new and old.
