Frank
Laning
Frank Laning, renowned floral artist,
in 1999 became one of 20 distinguished industry leaders
to have been awarded the prestigious Tommy Bright Award
from the Society of American Florists. He has been the floral
design for three Presidential Inaugurations, including that
of President George W. Bush. He has devoted over 20 years
to the New York Botanical Gardens as an Instructor and Co-Ordinator.
His passion is to share his love of floral design and a
global vision of the floral industry. At the Seminar, Frank
entertained and instructed the audience with his fabulous
Tablescapes - creating a mood of festive beauty befitting
a social occasion. He loves to entertain, and as the chief
Floral Designer for the Ritz-Carlton in the Cayman Islands,
he has ample opportunity to "set the stage" for
marvelous social events! Frank also conducted the Workshop
on the evening prior to the Seminar, and everyone had a
great time while learning new tips and techniques.
