Seminar 2005

SEMINAR 2005 was a marvelous event and, once again, an array of exciting programs presented by leading designers was offered. The display of Kaleidoscope designs were truly a delight, and showcased the creative talents and imaginative abilities of our members. Each year we are amazed at the flair and talent of both our featured designers and our CFAA members. We are fortunate to have a team of tireless and dedicated individuals who contribute to the success of our organization and of the Seminar each year. It always seems as if each year is better than the last, as our members seem to top their previous achievements!

DESIGN WORKSHOP.....
Char Mutschler conducted a Workshop the night before CFAA officially began, and a group of avid designers attended. Char's critiques, instruction and vivacious personality made the workshop both fun and informative. Each year, a different designer conducts a workshop at the CFAA Seminar, and this is open to anyone who would like to attend. Members may attend by filling out the form in the Seminar Brochure and remitting their checks to the Seminar Registrar. It's a lively and exciting time, with a number of materials provided, and the interaction between the designers makes it FUN and A TIME TO LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES AND GAIN NEW IDEAS! You'll find detailed information on the Workshop in the Seminar 2006 Brochure, which will be mailed in the fall.

CFAA is dedicated to furthering advanced American floral design as an art form, and our annual Seminar is a great tool in achieving this objective! Each year we learn new skills and techniques as we inter-act with fellow designers and instructors. We enjoy making new friends, as we renew friendships with like-minded design devotees. At the Seminar, we revel in shopping at the Vendor Sales Booths. This is a chance to see new products and to purchase those all-important materials we use in designing.

The Spring/Sumer Issue of Design Dimensions contained outstanding designs from Seminar 2005 that are representative of the fine design work enjoyed by attendees. The Fall/Winter will again showcase designs from the Seminar that are noteworthy. The Workshop at Seinar 2005 was a fun-filled, inspirational time and a time to really get those "creative juices" flowing! Sharing ideas and tips is the order of the day for the Workshop. When a group of enthusiastic, avid designers gets together, the air of excitement just permeates the air. Thanks to Char Mutschler for conducting the Workshop in 2005; her instruction and critiques were invaluable.

We encourage all CFAA members to invite friends and fellow designers to join our wonderful organization, and to make plans to attend Seminar 2006. The dates have been finalized, and the information is as follows:
