Renee Blaschke

RENEE BLASCHKE delighted CFAA audiences with a superb program and, surely, a program that stimulated our creative juices! A native Texan, born in San Antonio, Renee has held many offices in Texas and the South Central Region Garden Clubs. She is presently serving as a Vice President of National Garden Clubs, Inc. Her local recognitions include Woman of Achievement Business & Professionsl Women; Honorary Chapter Farmer, Smithville High School; Outstanding Citizen, Smithville Chamber of Commerce and Gardener of the Year and Garden Club Woman of the Year, Smithville. She is a Lone Star Girl Scout Council of Texas Woman of Distinction. Statewide Renee has held numerous offices on the Governor's Task Force, Trees for Texas, hospital boards, and both the University of Texas and Texas A & M boards.

	Renee may just be the only mayor we have ever had as a featured designer at CFAA! She serves as Mayor of Smithville, Texas. Of central importance in her life are her children, grandchildren, and her hobbies. She enjoys oil painting, needlepoint, gardening, landscaping, wedding planning, reading and genealogy. Renee somehow finds time to practise the art of creative floral design.....and she amazes audiences with her talent and flair.
