Lillian RicoLillian brings the vibrancy and tropical flair of Puerto Rico to her floral artistry, and her programs reflect the many facets of her talents. She studied traditional floral arranging at the PR Floral School of Design; Sweet Violet School of Ikebana at PR Sogetsu School; AGFA with Bob Thomas; Florida Certified Master Designer in Creative Design; and is a Board member of CFAA. She is a Floral Arranging Instructor specializing in classes for the English-speaking community on the island and co-owner of an Ornamental Plants Nursery in Dorado, PR for 21 years...now retired ! Lillian has participated in various exhibitions and flower shows: TROPIFLORA Exposition of the Puerto Rico Horticultural Society, serving as chairman for 2 years, Aibonito Festival of Flowers Exhibition; Puerto Rico Orchid Society; represented Puerto Rico at FloExpo in Miami in 1996; the International Flower and Garden Show at EPCOT; IDS Symposium in Cancun, Mexico representing Puerto Rico. She is a member of the Garden Club of Puerto Rico, P. R. Horticultural Society, National Flower Arrangers, Heliconia Society International and IDS. |
