Phyllis Andrews and Bonnie Dordal

(For Betty Reyer)

Phyllis Andrews and Bonnie Dordal presented the program originally planned by their friend, Betty Reyer. Health problems prevented Betty from attending, and we are sad to report that Betty lost her valiant struggle, and we will all mourn her loss. Her two special and very talented friends did a beautiful job of interpreting her designs, and bringing an exciting and inspiring program to Seminar attendees.

Featured designers Phyllis Andrews (L) and Bonnie Dordal (R) chat with Addie Lou Harris and Glenn Haugh.

Phyllis is a NGC Master Judge, member of the Judging and Exhibiting Committee, and a Design and Ethics Instructor for the Minnesota State Horticultural Society. She serves as President for 2003 - 2005 for the Federated Garden Clubs of Minnesota, and is active in Garden Clubs, Zoological Gardens, Arrangers' Study Groups and Judges Councils.

Bonnie has exercised her talent with artistic floral deigns for over 25 years, with a  special emphasis on abstract concepts. She created a "How To Grow and Show" video for the University of Wisconsin, and has done commercial design work. She has created steel sculptures for use with artistic floral designs, and is active in  both the Federated Garden Clubs of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Horticultural Society.
