Deen Day Smith

Gardening has been Deen Day Smith's hobby for thirty-five years. Her garden club work holds a very special place in her heart. Growing up in rural Georgia exposed her to a pristine, natural world. Her love of flowers and butterflies began at an early age. Deen is a Patron of CFAA, a member of Evergreen and Bellmere Garden Clubs, a Master Flower Show Judge, a Landscape Design Consultant, Environmental Consultant, and a Life Member of NGC, Deen served as immediate past National President of National Garden Clubs, Inc. with her term of office being 1999-2001. She holds teaching certificates in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. She has visited 19 states giving programs on "Table Settings For All Seasons", a popular and in-demand topic. Presently, one of her table settings is featured in the book, The Tiffany Wedding. Featured are a few of the many gorgeous and imaginative table designs that were exhibited by Deen in her program for the CFAA Seminar 2002.
