Seminar 2002

The CFAA Seminar of 2002 was truly an exciting event with a diverse line-up of ultra-talented designers on hand to share their expertise and knowledge. Spectacular floral designs graced the hotel lobby and mezzanine of the Adams Mark, showcasing the talents of CFAA members from all over the United States and Central America. Fifty-one designers exhibited this year, and the "Kaleidoscope" of designs was simply breathtaking.

And that was just the beginning! The Featured Designers gave programs that were wonderful, fresh and insightful--creating designs that were so masterful as to lift design to new heights. Featured Designers were: Deen Day Smith, Mary Poythress, Wilma Paulauskas and the Creative Designers of Central Florida, Myrna Cordray, Phyllis Brown, and Gloria Freitas. Workshops were conducted by Nancy Colvin and Wilma Paulauskas.

Glenn Haugh
, CFAA President, along with CFAA Officers, Directors, Chairmen, and the entire team, worked diligently to make the event a rousing success, and it was certainly that! Seminar Chairman, Peggy Nuse, along with Workshop Chairman, Annabelle Frilen, worked tirelessly on the Seminar.

Design Dimensions Editor, Elaine Waidelich, co-ordinated the work of the photo shoot and covered the Seminar for the bi-annual issues to come of our wonderful news/design magazine.

Such a successful event requires much planning and forethought. THANKS to all who devoted precious time, energy and money to Seminar 2002. We feel our organization and annual Seminar are unique, and we all continue to try to make a great organization and event even better!

President Glenn Haugh and CFAA Officer Peggy Nuse, with big smiles after a very successful seminar.

From beginning to end, the Seminar was outstanding...the programs and the Kaleidoscope were superb...the Sales Room was great, with its array of vendors... the Workshops were challenging...and the chance to meet old friends and to make new ones was gratifying. At a fruitful business meeting, By-Laws changes were enacted, making the running of the organization more efficient and streamlined.

Members from 26 states and from Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Grand Cayman Islands, were in attendance. Inspiring and informative, the CFAA SEMINAR 2002, as everyone who attended would agree, was truly a memorable experience.
